Strong organization is a key element to any successful project. A detailed equipment checklist not only reduces faulty packing but also ensures that nothing is left behind on location.
I use a checklist for my architectural shoots as well as any weddings that I do. There are two check-boxes for each item, one for packing and ensuring the bag is complete and the other to review before heading back to homebase. The template is laid out in excel and I've modified it to give you a blank slate. Feel free to customize it however you need to for your own equipment. For example, I have my checklist separated halfway through the page to allow space for two bags.
